  • Sculpture: An exploration of 3-dimensional art using various mediums including clay and paper mache, and snow during our annual snow sculpture competition.

  • Photoshop Art: An advanced course for students who complete digital photography. It includes image manipulation using Adobe photoshop.
  • Sewing/Costuming: This club teaches basic button sewing and hemming skills plus allows for more complex costume designs as needed for school musicals.
  • Graphic Arts: This class begins with the basic principles of good design and moves on to support independent projects such as programs and poster designs for Northbrook performances.
  • Cartooning: This club is taught through the work on cartoons for publishing in the school newspaper club.
  • Studio Art Club: This is an afternoon elective for students to have fun with art

Each spring there is a Student Art Show within our annual Variety Show.

All students take at least one art class each year.

Pastel work: Creating krill for Krill.

Digital photography students learned about the effects of lighting when taking still life photos.
