Our Students are expected to follow a dress code which is designed to minimize competition over material possessions such as fashions, and maximize focus on positive intangible possessions such as good study habits and good citizenship.

We have chosen to use Lands End as our provider of school uniforms and spiritwear. You will need our school code when ordering. Upon enrollment students will receive a detailed dress code list with item numbers needed to place orders. Northbrook also has a number of items available at extreme discounts from our recycled uniform "Swap Shop" events held throughout the year.

Casual Everyday Dress . All students should have a simple comfortable daily wear of tan natural waist pants and a white polo collar shirt. Short sleeve polos are acceptable for warmer weather and long sleeves for cooler weather. In the cooler weather there is the option to add a variety of spiritwear fleece , and/or a school sweater (all with the school logo). Comfortable, neat sneakers or shoes are the recommended footwear.

Physical Education. All students should wear dress code athletic attire for participation in our physical education program. This consists of a hunter green t-shirt with the school logo, navy blue soccer shorts with the school logo, white socks and sneakers. In addition, students should add the hunter green hoodie sweatshirt and navy sweat pants with the school logo. When swimming, we require a navy or black one piece racer back swim suit for girls, and navy or black swim trunks for the boys.

Athletic Teams. Our competitive teams have Northbrook Shamrocks athletic uniforms that will be provided to members as required.

While we have chosen simple daily wear that is as appropriate for young women as young men, we do appreciate that there will be occasions in which more formal and distinct attire is appropriate-- such as when there are professionals visiting , on certain field trips, during performances and at ceremonial events

. Special Occasions: Formal Attire. Students can wear their tan natural waist pants with the addition of a white buttoned collar shirt with the school logo . Boys will be expected to wear the plaid tie from the spiritwear collections and girls will have the option of wearing the plaid skirt from the same collection. Tights with the skirt and socks with pants, along with school shoes should accompany formal attire. In cooler weather the school's Navy blazer with logo is an added requirement for both boys and girls.

School "Letterman" Jacket, a heavy boiled wool green bodied and white leather sleeved jacket, is required attire for outside activities when the weather cools.
